| Griffonpoints Jupiter (Galahad) was born in the winter of
1996. It was a small litter, with one female and three males. Galahad
was a big, calm puppy, and to this day is a very even minded, easy going Griffon.
We had bred Ch Checkered Meg with Ch. Tucker's
Georgie CD CGC before, so we knew that the offspring would be of excellent quality.
This time we wanted to keep a male from this combination, and Will selected
Galahad as our next Grouse Specialist.
Like his father, Ch.
Tucker's Georgie CD CGC, Galahad is a very methodical, cooperative and biddable hunting
dog. He has a dog that is all business when it comes to the field. He is
naturally a close worker, and though he is a young dog, he has a focussed, effortless
manner in the grouse wood and will one day replace his sire as our #1 grouse hunter.
Galahad has a smooth,
efficient motion, and correct, athletic structure. He is a solid dog, his
strengths being an excellent forehand and bone. He has a maintenance free coat that
is very stiff and dense.
